    How do I subscribe to the Disney+ Hotstar package on AIS?

    You can subscribe to Disney+ Hotstar through the different steps below:

    IVR

    1. Dial *111 for monthly package  or *112 for yearly package 
    2. You will receive an SMS confirmation once your subscription is successful with a link to download the Disney+ Hotstar app

    1. Open myAIS application
    2. If you are not logged in, you will be required to log in using your AIS mobile number and OTP
    3. Click on the Disney+ Hotstar banner
    4. Select either the monthly or yearly plan. Click "Subscribe"
    5. Click "Confirm" to accept Terms and Conditions and subscribe
    6. You will see a Thank you page
    7. You will receive an SMS confirmation once your subscription is successful with a link to download the Disney+ Hotstar app

  • How do we know if the subscription is successful?

    You will receive an SMS notification once your subscription is successful.

  • When can I start streaming Disney+ Hotstar?

    Disney+ Hotstar will be available to AIS mobile customers on 30 June 2021.

  • What types of packages are available for Disney+ Hotstar on AIS?

    There are two packages available for AIS mobile customers: a monthly package for THB 49/month or an yearly package for THB 499/year.

  • Who is eligible for Disney+ Hotstar offer with AIS?

    Disney+ Hotstar is available for AIS Prepaid and Postpaid residential customer only. To become eligible for the AIS offer, non-AIS customers may sign up for a new AIS mobile number or transfer your number to AIS. Please click here or press *151*ID card number# and press call.

    Please note that corporate account customers are not eligible for Disney+ Hotstar and will need to use their personal AIS mobile number to register.

  • What happens if I switch my mobile plan from prepaid to postpaid and vice versa or change mobile number?

    Any changes to your mobile plan (Pre to post/Post to pre) or change mobile number will result in cancellation of your current Disney+ Hotstar subscription. If you would like to access Disney+ Hotstar, you will need to subscribe again.

  • Can a non-AIS customer subscribe to the Disney+ Hotstar offer with AIS?

    No, the Disney+ Hotstar offer with AIS is only available to AIS mobile customers. To become eligible for the AIS offer, non-AIS customers may sign up for a new AIS mobile number or transfer their number to AIS. Please click here or press *151*ID card number# and press call.

  • How do I check the status of my current subscription?

    You can check the status of your subscription via the myAIS application.

  • How do I change my Disney+ Hotstar package?

    • If you subscribe to a monthly plan and would like to upgrade to an yearly plan, you will either have to wait for the monthly plan to lapse or cancel your monthly plan. At the end of that billing cycle, you can subscribe to the yearly plan by following these steps.
    • Please note that you will not be able to change your yearly plan to a monthly plan, and no refund will be provided if you decide to do so. For your benefit, we recommend you to use Disney+ Hotstar until the end of the current billing cycle and subscribe once it has expired.

  • How do I cancel my Disney+ Hotstar subscription?

    For monthly plan

    If you cancel your Disney+ Hotstar subscription, you will be able to enjoy your Disney+ Hotstar access until your next charge (for both postpaid and prepaid mobile customers). By canceling your subscription, your Disney+ Hotstar access will be cancelled. If you would like to subscribe again to Disney+ Hotstar through AIS, please follow the steps here.

  • How long will I be able to continue streaming after canceling/unsubscribing?

    Once you cancel your Disney+ Hotstar subscription or when your subscription expires:

    • Monthly package, your access to Disney+ Hotstar will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.
    • Yearly package, you will not be able to access Disney+ Hotstar immediately.

  • I have a Disney+ Hotstar subscription, how do I start watching?

    You can start watching by following the steps below:

    On your iOS / Android app

    1. Download the Disney+ Hotstar application from your Apple App store or Google Play Store
    2. Enter your AIS mobile number to create an account > Click ‘Continue’
    3. You will receive a 4-digit code through SMS; Enter the 4-digit code onto the app > Click ‘Continue’
    4. Fill in your registration details
    5. Click on ‘Create Account’
    6. You will be redirected to the home page
    7. Start watching!

    On your desktop browser

    1. Visit www.disneyplushotstar.com
    2. Please agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy by clicking ‘Continue’
    3. Enter your AIS mobile number to create an account > Click ‘Continue’
    4. You will receive a 4-digit code through SMS; Enter the 4-digit code onto the app > Click ‘Continue’
    5. Fill in your registration details
    6. Click on ‘Create Account’

  • Can I watch the Disney+ Hotstar on LG TV, Samsung Smart TV, Roku, PS4, PS5, Amazon Fire Stick ?

    Currently Disney+ Hotstar is not available on LG TV, Samsung Smart TV, Roku, PS4, PS5, Amazon Fire Stick. You will be able to watch Disney+ Hotstar on compatible devices such desktop browsers, mobile apps (iOS and Android), tablets, as well as Apple TV, Android TV and Chromecast on 30 June 2021. We are working to make Disney+ Hotstar available on this platform.

  • What video resolutions are supported?

    There are 4 streaming quality settings* available on Disney+ Hotstar: Auto, High, Medium and Low. Disney+ Hotstar also offers full HD (1080p resolution) picture quality for most content*. On Android TV* & Apple TV* Disney+ Hotstar apps, there is a selection of Ultra HD 4K movies, which will also have Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos included. (*compatible devices required)

  • What subtitles and dubs are available?

    Most English content will either have Thai dubs and/or subtitles. The majority of the global blockbuster movies will be available in Thai dubs.

    The following content will be available in the original dub language with Thai subtitles Chinese*, Hong Kong*, Malaysian*, Singapore*, Taiwan*,Indonesian, Japanese**, Korean**
    *wherever available, with simplified Chinese subtitles and Thai dubs

  • What language settings are available?

    The user interface of the Disney+ Hotstar app is available in English and Thai. The language of Disney+ Hotstar is based on your device or browser language settings. If your device setting is in Thai, the app will automatically be in Thai. 

  • I did not receive the OTP

    Please "request OTP'' again and enter the new OTP to to proceed to the next step.

  • How many devices can I watch on?

    You can watch Disney+ Hotstar on two screens at the same time.

  • Can I watch Disney+ Hotstar via Google Chromecast?

    Yes, you can access Disney+ Hotstar via Google Chromecast on your Android and iOS devices.

  • I subscribed to the Disney+ Hotstar offer through AIS. Can I login to Disney+ Hotstar through other networks?

    Yes, you can login to Disney+ Hotstar on other networks by logging into Disney+ Hotstar with your AIS mobile number.

  • Customer unable to login with browser on AIS PLAYBOX.

    For the best experience with Disney+ Hotstar, please install the Disney+Hostar application on your compatible mobile phone or tablet. You can also watch Disney+ Hotstar by heading to disneyplushotstar.com on compatible internet-connected desktop browsers or by watching on compatible Apple TV, Android TV or Chromecast.

    You can search for your favourite films or series by heading to the magnifying glass in the application, website browser, or living room device and typing in the film/series title.

  • How to purchase

    When will I be charged for the Disney+ Hotstar offer on AIS?

    Monthly plan

    For postpaid customers:

    Once you subscribe to Disney+ Hotstar through AIS, you will be charged THB 49 on your monthly billing cycle for 12 months. Please ensure that you complete the payment each month in order to continue enjoying Disney+ Hotstar through AIS.

     

    For prepaid customers:

    You will be charged THB 49 immediately. Please ensure that you have sufficient balance in your account to access Disney+ Hotstar. After that, you will be charged each month on the same day.

     

    Yearly plan

    For postpaid customers:

    Once you subscribe to Disney+ Hotstar through AIS, you will be charged THB 499 on your that month or next month's billing cycle. 12 months later, you will be charged again.

     

    For prepaid customers:

    You will be charged THB 499 immediately. Please ensure that you have sufficient balance in your account to access Disney+ Hotstar. 12 months later, you will be charged again.

  • How do I resubscribe?

    Monthly plan
    For postpaid customers: the payment of THB 49 for your Disney+ Hotstar offer will automatically be renewed in your monthly billing cycle for 12 months.

    For prepaid customers: the payment of THB 49 for your Disney+ Hotstar offer will automatically be charged on the day you made your payment, for 12 months. Please ensure you have sufficient balance in your account to continue your Disney+ Hotstar access. If your payment fails the first time, your Disney+ Hotstar access will be suspended. AIS will attempt the charge 2 more times over the next 2 days. If your payment continues to fail, your Disney+ Hotstar access will expire.

    Yearly plan
    For postpaid customers: the payment of THB 499 for your Disney+ Hotstar offer will automatically be renewed 12 months after your first charge.

    For prepaid customers: the payment of THB 499 for your Disney+ Hotstar offer will automatically be charged on the day you made your payment, 12 months later. Please ensure you have sufficient balance in your account to continue your Disney+ Hotstar access. If your payment fails the first time, your Disney+ Hotstar access will be suspended.     Can AIS Fibre customers subscribe Disney+ Hotstar package?

    Customers who have AIS SIM card:
    For AIS Fibre customers, if you have an AIS mobile number you can subscribe the Disney+ Hotstar monthly plan and yearly plan immediately.

    For customers who have other network mobile number:
    Customers using other mobile operators may sign up for a new AIS mobile number or transfer your number to AIS. Please click here or press *151*ID card number# and press call.

  • What is AIS Fibre customers with an AIS mobile number can be subscribe package to get Disney+ Hotstar privilege?

    AIS Fibre customers with an AIS mobile number can be subscribe package to get Disney+ Hotstar privilege as follows

    1. Disney+ Hotstar monthly package 49 Baht/month (Normally 99 Baht) and Yearly package 499 Baht (Normal 799 Baht)
    2. AIS PLAY package
      - PLAY PREMIUM package 19 Baht for first month thereafter 199 Baht (for the first time subscription only) and get special 6 months access to Disney+ Hotstar, with no additional charge thereafter subscribe for 35 Baht/month, for 6 months.

    Exclusive Disney+ Hotstar privilege for AIS Fibre customers with an AIS mobile number only

  • Can AIS Fiber customers subscribe Disney+ Hotstar package by AIS Fibre ID and payment via AIS Fibre billing ?

    Currently, AIS Fibre customer can not subscribe Disney+ Hotstar package by using AIS Fibre ID.

    We recommend our customers to simply use an AIS Mobile number (Prepaid or Postpaid) to subscribe Disney+ Hotstar package.

  • Can AIS Fibre customers watch Disney+ Hotstar contents on AIS PLAYBOX?

    AIS and Disney+ Hotstar have developed application for customer to use on AIS PLAYBOX.

    Currently the supported model is AIS PLAYBOX 912, which users of this model will receive automatic updates (OTA) from June 30, 2021 onwards. Once the update is successfully completed, customers can start streaming immediately.

    If Disney+ Hotstar application is not installed on your AIS PLAYBOX 912 after 30 June 2021, please turn off and turn on AIS PLAYBOX again.

  • In the case of using an unsupported AIS PLAYBOX mode, what should customers do?

    For customers using other unsupported AIS PLAYBOX model. There are many simple alternatives which allowed you to stream Disney+ Hotstar on the big screen.

    Disney+ Hotstar is available on Chromecast (Gen 2 onwards, firmware 1.43 & above) and with the latest version of the Disney+ Hotstar application on iPhone, iPad and Android mobile.

    Follow these instructions to cast your film/series:

    1. Make sure your mobile device and your Chromecast are on the same WiFi network.
    2. Log into your Disney+ Hotstar application.
    3. Select a film/series that you want to cast.
    4. Press play.
    5. Once the film/series has started, tap on the casting icon.
    6. Select the screen you wish to cast.
    7. The film/series should then be cast onto your screen.

    If you are on an iOS device, you can also use Airplay mirroring to cast your film/series on Apple TV.

    How do I watch on my Living Room device?

    1. Open the Disney+ Hotstar application on your Living Room device.
    2. You will be shown a code.
    3. Head to www.hotstar.com/th/activate via your phone or laptop.
    4. Log in to your Disney+ Hotstar account.
    5. Enter the code shown on TV.

  • Privileges for AIS PLAY package

    Who is eligible for special Disney+Hotstar privileges?

    Exclusive Disney+ Hotstar privileges from AIS for customers and AIS Fibre with AIS Mobile number and subscribed PLAY PREMIUM or PLAY PREMIUM PLUS starting on 1 July 2021 onwards.

  • When will customers get Disney+ Hotstar privileges and start streaming?

    Customers will get sms confirmation. For AIS customers who apply with an AIS mobile number can watch Disney+ Hotstar immediately. And AIS Fiber customers using AIS mobile number as a contact number can start watching Disney+ Hotstar on the next day after successfully applying for PLAY PREMIUM or PLAY PREMIUM PLUS package.    

  • How AIS and AIS Fibre customers who have PLAY PREMIUM or PLAY PREMIUM PLUS package access to Disney+ Hotstar?

    Customers can log in Disney+ Hotstar through application or web site by using AIS mobile number for AIS customers, AIS mobile contact number for AIS Fibre customers.

  • Can customers stream Disney+ Hotstar if PLAY PREMIUM or PLAY PREMIUM PLUS package was canceled?

    Disney+ Hotstar privileges will be automatically cancelled when customer cancels PLAY PREMIUM package.

  • If customer is eligible Disney+ Hotstar privileges from PLAY PREMIUM or PLAY PREMIUM PLUS package and has subscribed Disney+ Hotstar at special rate, how to suggest customers?

    Recommend customers to get Disney+ Hotstar privileges from PLAY PREMIUM or PLAY PREMIUM PLUS package, customers can cancel subscribed Disney+ Hotstar at special rate via myAIS application or Call Center 1175.

    What is eSIM?

    An eSIM is a SIM card that is embedded in a mobile device. Without the traditional chip, eSIM can be used to make/receive a call, or access the internet.

  • Who can use an eSIM?

    1.Current customers using a SIM with a pre-paid or post-paid service
    2.Customers using a new SIM with a pre-paid or post-paid service under any package
    3.Customers who have moved from a network, using a pre-paid or post-paid service under any package
    4.Multi SIM and MultiSIM PLUS users [primary SIM only]
    5.Spare SIM users

  • Can customers who have moved from a network using a pre-paid or post-paid service apply for eSIM?

    Yes. However, the customer is required to move from the previous network completely.

  • Can all MultiSIM or MultiSIM PLUS users use an eSIM?

    Yes, but for the primary SIM only.

  • How many eSIM numbers can be used per device?

    Up to six numbers. Only one number can be used at a time.

  • Can an eSIM be used to make/receive a call, access the internet and apply for main and add-on packages just like when a physical SIM is used?

    Yes.

  • Will the current package in use remain the same if I apply for an eSIM while still using a pre-paid or post-paid SIM card?

    Yes.

  • After downloading an eSIM into a device and using other applications like LINE to scan a QR code, is it true that the QR code can no longer be used?

    No. You can still use the QR code as usual.

  • If I download an eSIM to my device with a physical SIM being present inside, which is going to be the primary SIM and a secondary SIM?

    Your physical SIM will automatically be set as the primary SIM and the eSIM as a secondary SIM.

  • If I use a device with no physical SIM, what will be the status of the eSIM?

    Primary SIM.

  • If I use more than one eSIM in my device without a physical SIM, which eSIM shall be set as primary?

    The first eSIM you register.

  • If I download an eSIM to my device when there is already a physical SIM in the device, which SIM is going to be Default Line to make/receive a call and access the internet?

    The device will ask you to choose Default Line to make/receive a call and access the internet. To follow the instructions, click.

  • If I already have an eSIM in my device and download another eSIM to the device, which SIM is going to be Default Line to make/receive a call and access the internet?

    The latest eSIM that has been downloaded will automatically be set as Default Line to make/receive a call and access the internet.

  • If I download an eSIM to an empty device, will the latest eSIM that has been downloaded automatically be set Default Line to make/receive a call and access the internet?

    Yes.

  • How do I check the number(s) available in my device?

    Go to the Settings menu to check all the numbers you have in your device.

  • If I have not set up my internet connection in a device that contains both a physical SIM and eSIM, which SIM will be used for internet access?

    The physical SIM will be used for internet access.

  • Will all my Settings be reset if I switch Airplane Mode off and on?

    No.

  • How do I know which SIM is being in use?

    You can see the primary SIM or secondary SIM is used from the call screen.

  • How do I delete the data of an eSIM I no longer use?

    Go to Settings. >> Remove Cellular Plan.

  • If I have deleted the data in my eSIM, is it possible to retrieve the data?

    No.

  • If I am using a physical SIM, can I also be reached at my eSIM? And is it possible vice versa?

    No. You are required to choose to use one SIM at a time.

  • Converting & Transferring eSIM yourself

    Who is eligible for the service?

    Individual customers on either pre-paid or post-paid service using iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, or any newer models that are running iOS 15.4 or later are eligible for this service. (Corporate customers are not eligible).

  • Which devices are eligible for the service?

    Compatible devices for eSIM transfer are iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, or any newer models that are running iOS 15.4 or later. iPad or any other products are not eligible.

  • Why don’t my settings show the Convert to eSIM or Transfer Cellular Plan functions?

    The phone number that will be used for activating the eSIM service must have VoLTE and VoWiFi services enabled and must have the following device security functions enabled:

    • Both iPhones must be logged into iCloud
    • The two-factor authentication must be enabled
    • Enable the Face ID/Passcode Lock
    • Registered to the iMessage service

  • Why can't I transfer my phone number and the error message “Transfer not Support” is shown instead?

    The phone number transferring the eSIM must have both VoLTE and VoWiFi services enabled. To enable the services, please follow these steps:

    • AIS VoLTE (Voice over LTE) or AIS HD Voice by calling the USSD code *412*1#
    • AIS VoWiFi (Voice over WiFi) by calling the USSD code *399*1#

  • After I have switched from the physical SIM card to eSIM or transferred from the physical SIM card to eSIM on the new iPhone, can I switch back to the physical SIM card myself?

    You can switch eSIM between iPhones. However, if you wish to switch back to the physical SIM card, you will need to contact our customer service at AIS Shop

  • After I have converted or transferred from physical SIM to eSIM, will all my phonebook contacts be transferred as well?

    No. It is recommended to backup all your contacts from the SIM card to the device’s phonebook and backup the data on iCloud before making the transfer

  • Can corporate customers use this service?

    No. Corporate customers wishing to use the eSIM service should please contact AIS Shop

  • Can foreign customers proceed with the eSIM conversion or transfer service themselves?

    Yes. Simply follow the steps listed on the AIS website. On the step that requires the customer to enter ID number, simply enter the passport number that is registered with AIS

  • Can I transfer eSIM from my iPhone to another brand that supports eSIM?

    No. The transfer service is limited to transferring between eligible iPhone devices only

  • After the system has completed the eSIM installation, can I still use the old SIM card or eSIM on the old device?

    No. Once the installation is completed, the old SIM card or eSIM on your previous iPhone will be deactivated automatically. You are recommended to destroy the SIM card once the process is completed
